product description
The AquaTrans AT868 ultrasonic flowmeter of GE Panametrics integrates the most advanced flow measurement technology with a low-cost transmitter package and can be directly installed on the measurement point. It is especially suitable for the application of water, wastewater and sewage in urban engineering. By using AT868's built-in keyboard or connecting to a computer to run GE Panametric's instrument interface software, instrument settings can be easily achieved.
When using a clamp-on sensor, the accuracy can reach 1% to 2% of the reading; when using a wet sensor, it is better than 1% of the reading. The flow velocity measurement range is from 0.1 to 40 ft/s (0.03 to 12.2 m/s), and the turndown ratio is 400:1. The measurement does not hinder the flow of the medium, and will not cause pressure loss and pollution.
Features
Clip-on or wet sensor without breaking the tube
Velocity range from 0.1 to 40 ft/s (0.03 to 12.2 m/s)
Measurable flow rate, volume flow and cumulative flow
One analog output and one frequency/pulse cumulative output
Built-in keyboard for field setting
Low-cost configuration
Specifications and parameters
Fluid type: liquid that can conduct sound, including most pure liquids and some liquids mixed with solids and bubbles. The highest content ratio of solid and gas in the multiphase liquid that can be measured is determined by the sensor, sound path and pipeline structure.
Pipeline size:
Clip-on sensor: 12.7mm~7.6m, or larger
Wet sensor: 25.4mm~5m, or larger
Tube wall thickness: the thickest is 76.2mm
Pipeline material: all metal and plastic pipes.
Clamp-on measurement accuracy:
Pipe diameter > 150mm: usually ±1%~±2% of reading
Pipe diameter≤150mm: usually ±2%~±5% of general reading
Wet measurement accuracy:
Usually ±1% of reading
Note: The accuracy depends on the pipe diameter and whether one-way or two-way measurement is used. If the calibration is performed, the accuracy can reach ±0.5%
Repeatability: ±0.1%~±0.3% of reading
Range (two-way) -12.2m/s~12.2m/s
Turndown ratio (full range): 400:1
Note: The performance index given assumes that the flow field in the pipe has been fully developed (usually meeting the straight pipe section with 10 pipe diameters upstream and 5 pipe diameters downstream) and the flow velocity is greater than 0.3m/s
Measurement parameters: volume flow, cumulative flow and velocity
